Mercury 25HP 25MH 15″ Shaft – Outboard Motor

The Mercury 25MH is a 25-horsepower FourStroke built on a 500cc three-cylinder block with battery-free electronic fuel injection, so it fires on a pull with no cranking battery aboard. Three cylinders and a balanced powerhead run smoother than the twins this class used to carry, and the tiller adjusts laterally and flips its grip for left- or right-hand throttle. It ships with a 15-inch short shaft, forward-neutral-reverse gearshift, and an external fuel tank, and at 132 lbs it’s one of the lighter three-cylinder motors in its class, with Mercury’s saltwater corrosion protection throughout.

Twenty-five horsepower is real skiff power, planing a loaded aluminum boat or center console tiller rig working the coves and island channels of Casco Bay.
