Mercury 115HP 115ELPT 20″ Shaft – Outboard Motor

The Mercury 115ELPT is a 115-horsepower FourStroke, the full-power tune of Mercury’s 2.1-liter four-cylinder block, and at 360 lbs it’s among the lightest 115s built. That combination of big displacement and low weight means strong hole shot without loading up the transom, backed by electronic fuel injection, electric start, power trim and tilt, remote controls, and a 20-inch long shaft. Its valvetrain never needs adjustment, the alternator holds battery charge even at trolling speeds, and saltwater corrosion protection runs through the block and gearcase.

The 115 class is the workhorse size for 17 to 19-foot center consoles and dual consoles out here, and this one planes that boat loaded and holds it through a Casco Bay chop. It’s also one of the most common repowers the shop sees, since the low weight often drops pounds off an older motor while adding power.
